Hall of Fame
Kat Bucceri (Women's Water Polo) is the first women's water polo student-athlete to be inducted into the Gannon Athletics Hall of Fame. She was a two-time All-Collegiate Water Polo Association (CWPA) Western Division first-team selection. Bucceri was one of only two non-NCAA Division I players named to the first team as a junior and senior. The prestigious team included players from powerhouse NCAA Division I schools such as Indiana University and the University of Michigan.
The Lakeville, Conn., native is Gannon's all-time scoring leader with 256 career goals. She ranks fourth all-time at Gannon in earned kick-outs (103), ninth in assists (67) and 12th in steals (112). Bucceri concluded her collegiate career with the program's top two single-season scoring totals, producing 85 goals as a junior in 2006 and 75 scores as a senior in 2008. Those totals now rank second and third, respectively.
