Danny Adamson '80 (Men's Basketball) ranks fourth all-time at Gannon in field goals made (627), fourth in field goals attempted (1,411), ninth in points (1,429) and 20th in rebounds (538). He concluded his career fourth all-time at Gannon in scoring, but currently sits in ninth place.

The Aliquippa, Pa., native began his collegiate career as a valuable sixth man on the 1976-77 team that hosted the NCAA East Regional during his freshman campaign. Adamson proceeded to lead Gannon in scoring the next three seasons as a sophomore, junior and senior. He led Gannon to a .664 (73-37) winning percentage during his four years, including a pair of 20-win seasons and two NCAA Tournament appearances. Adamson later played professionally in Australia for eight years after his graduation. Upon retirement, he coached for another 10 years at various levels that included the professional ranks.
