Gannon University Athletics has firmly established itself as a leader in NCAA Division II. The Golden Knights captured the prestigious Dixon Trophy awarded to the top overall program in the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) three times in the past four years (2021-22, 2022-23, and 2024-25). Nationally, Gannon ranks in the top 30 of the NCAA Division II Learfield Directors’ Cup Standings, underscoring the depth and success of our athletic programs.
But our achievements go far beyond the scoreboard.
In the 2024-25 academic year, our student-athletes earned an impressive 3.497 cumulative GPA, completed thousands of hours of community service, and raised over $13,000 for charitable organizations. On the field, Gannon brought home three PSAC titles, several NCAA regional championships, and welcomed over 40,000 fans to our athletic venues, including the Highmark Events Center, McConnell Family Stadium, and Carneval Athletic Pavilion Pool.
