Amanda (Sharbaugh) Spaeder '12, '13M (Women's Soccer) produced 51 goals, 22 assists and 124 points as a four-year starter. The forward graduated as Gannon's all-time leader in goals and points. In fact, she had 34 more points and 17 more goals than any other women's soccer player in school history at that time. Sharbaugh ranks third all-time in career assists with 22. She set the program's single-season records for goals (17) and points (39) at the time during her senior campaign in 2011.
The Sarver, Pa., native began her career by being named Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Freshman of the Year in 2008. Sharbaugh went on to be named to the All-PSAC first team four times and earned all-region accolades six times, including double accolades as a junior and senior.
Sharbaugh's classroom performance was as good as her soccer results. She received Academic All-America and Academic All-District first-team honors as a senior. Sharbaugh was named a PSAC Scholar-Athlete four times and received the NCAA Division II Athletics Directors Association (ADA) Academic Achievement Award three times.
