Dave Kruszewski '90 (Wrestling) was one of Gannon's wrestling pioneers, becoming the second wrestler in program history to earn all-america honors with an eighth-place finish in the 134-pound division of the 1990 NCAA Division II National Championships. A three-time national qualifier, Kruszewski won 78 percent of his career dual matches with a 38-11 record. His 102-53 overall record equaled a .658 winning percentage.
The Erie, Pa., native served as Gannon's team captain during his final two collegiate seasons. Kruszewski graduated second all-time at Gannon in overall victories, dual victories, overall winning percentage and dual winning percentage. He still ranks among the top five in overall wins and dual wins.
