2013-14: Named a PSAC Scholar-Athlete … went 3-9 overall while wrestling at both 149 and 157 as a true freshman … began his collegiate career by splitting a pair of matches at 149 during the Mount Union Invitational … recorded an 18-0 technical fall of Wheeling Jesuit’s Jonathan Barrett for his first career victory … split four matches in the 157-pound weight division at the Jamestown Jayhawk Open, producing both wins against NCAA Division I opponents … began the wrestlebacks with his first career pin, ending his match against Pittsburgh’s Joe Fleming in one minute and 18 seconds … followed with a 2-1 decision against Niagara’s Barry Hart.
