Expected to compete 165 as a redshirt sophomore in 2018-19.
2017-18: Redshirted ... went 2-4 while wrestling unattached in the 165-pound divisions at the Lake Erie Storm and Jamestown Jayhawk opens.
2016-17: Began his collegiate career with a pair of matches in the 165-pound division at the Lake Erie Open … competed at 157 for his final six bouts … secured his first career victory with a pin at the Jamestown Jayhawk Open … added a win against NCAA Division I Kent State’s Richard Jackson at the John Carroll Open.
High School: Wrestled for head coach and former Gannon standout Tom Lenox at McDowell (Pa.) High School … helped McDowell win four consecutive district championships.
Personal: Undeclared major … is the son of Carla and Darin … has five brothers.
