2015-16: Named a PSAC Scholar-Athlete … received the NCAA Division II Athletics Directors Association (ADA) Academic Achievement Award … wrestled his first 14 matches at 149, before ending the season with four bouts at 157 … began the season by winning his first two matches at the Mount Union Invitational, pinning Mount Union’s Austin Rush in 4:54 and recording a 12-3 major decision against Brockport State’s Zack Bendick … split four matches at the Thunderwolf Open, picking up both victories against Brockport State teammates Jackson Bell (8-3) and Benick (5-3) … captured two more wins at the Mount Union Open, including a pin of NCAA Division I Edinboro’s Zaal Zafari at the 3:54 mark.
2014-15: Selected as a PSAC Scholar-Athlete … won six bouts as a true freshman at 149 … tied for fourth among Golden Knights in major decisions (3) … recorded his first collegiate win during his first match at the Mount Union Invitational, knocking off Brockport State’s Austin Hedges 8-4 … finished fifth at the Jamestown Jayhawk Open with a 2-2 record, opening his run by pinning Brandon Washburn of NCAA Division I Edinboro in three minutes … won three consecutive matches at the Ashland Open, ending the first two by major decisions.
