Returns as one of Gannon’s starters … expected to compete at heavyweight for the fifth consecutive season as a redshirt senior in 2017-18 … tabbed second at heavyweight in the NCAA Division II Wrestling Coaches Association preseason individual national rankings.

2016-17: Finished 21-12 overall and 7-3 in dual competition at heavyweight … ranked second among Golden Knights in overall victories and third in dual wins … opened the season with a runner-up finish at the Mount Union Invitational, winning his first three bouts … placed fourth at the NCAA Division I-heavy Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Championships, igniting the run with a 3-1 sudden victory against Evan Daley of NCAA Division I Clarion … won four of his final five dual matches … qualified for his second national championship appearance with a third-place finish at the NCAA Division II Super Regional One … completed his regional run with a 3-1 record, pinning Kutztown’s Ryan Appleby in three times and 13 seconds during the third-place bout … kicked off the regional tournament with victories against Shippensburg’s Derek Berberick (4-1) and Pitt-Johnstown’s D.J. 2015-16: Redshirted … led Gannon in pins (10) while wrestling unattached as a heavyweight … ranked fourth among Golden Knights in victories (18) … competed at the Findlay Open, Thunderwolf Open, Cleveland State Open, Mount Union Open and Jamestown Jayhawk Open … named D2Wrestle.com Super Region One Wrestler of the Week on December 15 after finishing runner-up at the Cleveland State Open with a 3-1 record … recorded two of his three victories at the Cleveland State Open against NCAA Division I wrestlers, before losing the title match to another NCAA Division I wrestler in sudden victory … pinned Andrew Snyder of NCAA Division I Old Dominion in 1:51, before advancing to the title bout with a 6-2 victory against Boyce Cornwell of NCAA Division I Gardner-Webb … suffered a 3-1 sudden-death setback against Devin Nye of NCAA Division I Kent State in the finals … ended his season with a gold medal at the Jamestown Jayhawk Open, winning all four matches with three pins and one technical fall … began the campaign by placing fifth at the Findlay Open with a 5-1 record … won his final five matches at the Findlay Open, including victories against NCAA Division I opponents Parker Knapp of Ohio State (4-3) and Zack Parker of Ohio (7-5, SV-1) … started his Findlay Open run with back-to-back pins of Wheeling Jesuit’s Miguel Staples (2:05) and Lake Erie’s Zach Wood (1:13) … placed third at the Thunderwolf Open with a 4-1 showing … wrestled three NCAA Division I opponents at the Thunderwolf Open, including wins against Niagara’s Marshall Taylor (5-0) in the opener and Binghamton’s Brock Cvijanovich (5-2) in the third-place match.

2014-15: Led Gannon in victories, getting his hand raised 25 times as a heavyweight … tied for the team lead in pins (5) … finished 25-13 overall and 9-3 in dual competition … placed second at the NCAA Division II Super Regional One, qualifying for his first career NCAA Division II National Championship appearance … advanced to the regional title bout with victories against West Liberty’s Aaron Silverio (4-3, TB-2) and LIU Post’s James Louison (2-0) … eliminated at the national championships with a tight 2-0 setback against Michael Lowman of Augustana (S.D.) … named PSAC Wrestler of the Week after finishing fourth at the Ashland Open with a 4-2 record … defeated Adontis Watson of NCAA Division I Cleveland State 3-1 at the Ashland Open … opened the season with a third-place finish at the Mount Union Invitational … split his first two matches at the Mount Union Invitational, before rolling off four consecutive victories … defeated Campbellsville’s Jordan Watkins 4-1 to capture the bronze medal at Mount Union … placed fourth at the NCAA Division I-heavy PSAC Championships, advancing to the third-place match with a 3-1 sudden-death victory against Brad Emerick of NCAA Division I Lock Haven … went 3-2 at the conference championships … split four matches at the Midwest Classic … produced Gannon’s second-most dual wins … won his final five dual bouts of the regular season, including a 3-2 verdict against Andy Welton of rival Mercyhurst … extended his season-high win streak to seven with victories during his first two matches at the regional championships.

2013-14: Finished 15-14 overall and 5-4 in dual action as a true freshman at heavyweight … was one of nine Golden Knights to reach double digits in victories … won his first two collegiate matches at the Mercyhurst Open, pinning Christopher Nelson of NCAA Division I West Virginia in three minutes and 37 seconds during his first collegiate action … followed with a 3-1 victory against West Liberty’s Aaron Silverio, before finishing the event with a 2-2 record … named PSAC Wrestler of the Week on February 24 after defeating Robert Zappitelli 3-2 to give the Golden Knights a 23-22 win against No. 18 Lake Erie in the regular-season finale … made his move with 1:21 remaining in the final period, taking down Zappitelli for the decisive points right before the two wrestlers barreled out of bounds … ranked fourth among Golden Knights in victories and dual wins … finished third at the Mount Union Invitational with a 4-1 record, falling only to Zappitelli in extra time … defeated Wheeling Jesuit’s Corey Siegfried 6-1 to capture the bronze medal … placed sixth at the NCAA Division I-dominated PSAC Championships … earned his first collegiate dual victory with a pin of Millersville’s Ryan Nielson in 57 seconds … won four of his last five regular-season bouts … entered the postseason with back-to-back dual victories against Pitt-Johnstown’s Josh Duplin (5-3) and Zappitelli … split four matches at the NCAA Division II Super Regional One … kicked off the regional with a 6-0 shutout of Millersville’s Elijah Flasher … opened the wrestlebacks with a 6-2 victory against Seton Hill’s Ryan Simonica.
