2014-15: Competed at 174 for the second consecutive season, wrestling 11 times as a redshirt sophomore … named a PSAC Scholar-Athlete … received the NCAA Division II ADA Academic Achievement Award … posted his first victory of the season with a pin of West Liberty’s Daniel Carpenter in 3:38 at the Mercyhurst Open … finished eighth at the Mount Union Invitational, splitting four matches … opened the Mount Union Invitational with a 6-4 sudden victory against Sean Szitas of the host school … served as Gannon’s 174-pound entry at the PSAC Championships.

2013-14: Named a PSAC Scholar-Athlete … received the NCAA Division II ADA Academic Achievement Award … went 3-2 during his only action of the season at the Jamestown Jayhawk Open … wrestled at 174 pounds … posted three convincing wins at the open, beginning with a 7-0 shutout of Cortland’s Josh Reed … followed with an 11-2 major decision against Penn State DuBois’ Matt Riveria and a pin of Jamestown’s Bryan McCoy in four minutes.

High School: Wrestled for head coach Derek Chew at Harbor Creek (Pa.) High School ... was a two-sport athlete, lettering four times in wrestling and three times in football ... served as a wrestling team captain for two seasons.

Personal: Criminal Justice major … is the son of Kelly and Joe ... has two sisters and two brothers, including former teammate Matthew … is a member of the Gannon Dean’s List.
