The Gannon women's basketball team hosts Central State in a non-conference game Monday, February 7 at the Hammermill Center. The 5:30 p.m. contest is the second during a three-game homestand as the Lady Knights will play three games during a five-day span.
Gannon enters the contest with a 9-10 record after dropping a conference game to Indiana (Pa.) on Saturday by a 62-56 score. The Lady Knights are led by
Julie Kleber, (Suffern, N.Y. / Suffern) who is averaging 13 points this season.
Caitlyn Lowe (Gettysburg, Pa. / Gettysburg) and
Danielle Tucker (Rochester, N.Y. / East) are both averaging double-digit points with 10.6 and 10 respectively.
Central state holds a 9-11 record this season. The Marauders have won two of their last three games, picking up victories over Salem International (78-50) and Alderson-Broaddus (68-58).
It will be the fourth match-up between Gannon and Central State with the Lady Knights earning the 108-62 win last season. Central State earned its only win (85-63) over Gannon in the first meeting during the 2002-03 season.
