Biography

Tucker is expected to compete for a starting role this season. During her redshirt season, the forward showed strong improvement during practices. The redshirt freshman is an explosive player with strong hands and a passion to rebound the ball.

High School: Played for Mario Valasquez at East (N.Y.) High School ... averaged 22 points and 12 rebounds per game while leading East to a 15-4 record and the Section V Class AA semifinals ... scored 1,226 career points ... earned Democrat and Chronicle All-Greater Rochester second-team accolades ... was a three-time team MVP ... named East’s Athlete of the Year ... received the coach’s award ... participated in the Ronald McDonald Game ... received the sportsmanship award ... was a member of the Black Scholar and National Honor Society ... graduated as a member of the high honor roll.
