Ansec helped the Gannon women's volleyball team sweep three matches last week to win the PSAC Northwest Division and earn the No. 1 seed with hosting rights for the conference tournament. The junior outside hitter averaged 4.67 kills, 0.78 digs and 0.56 blocks through nine sets in three sweeps against Mercyhurst, Slippery Rock and Edinboro. She hit .405 during the week, recording 42 kills with only eight errors in 84 attempts. Ansec reached double digits in kills during all three matches, extending her streak to five contests. She led Gannon with 18 kills and hit .500 during a sweep at Edinboro that clinched the top seed, committing only three errors in 30 attacks. Ansec has reached double digits in kills 17 times this season.
