Playing in her home state, Molly Andrews led the Gannon women’s water polo team to a 2-2 record during the Chapman Tournament last weekend. Andrews opened the week with three of Gannon’s seven goals during a 7-4 victory against LaVerne. The senior then exploded for five goals during a loss to California State San Bernadino. Her scoring effort helped Gannon erase a 7-4 halftime lead, eventually forcing overtime. Against Chapman, Andrews scored with six seconds remaining to tie the match at 11. She totaled six goals during the contest. She finished the weekend with two goals during Gannon’s 11-10 win against Whittier.
