Biography

Tamerlano will compete for a starting spot during her first season at Gannon. The sophomore adds height on the perimeter for the Lady Knights which could cause matchup problems for opponents. She runs the floor well and will improve Gannon’s quickness this season.

 

At Bowling Green: Played one season (2009-10) at NCAA Division I Bowling Green State University … saw action in 20 games for the Falcons, scoring 34 points and grabbing 23 rebounds … finished the season 15-of-35 from the field with nine steals.

 

High School: Played for head coaches Dean Chuppa and Christine Noy at North Royalton (Ohio) High School … was a four-year letterwinner … was a McDonald’s All-America nominee in 2008-09 … earned All-Ohio honors for the Bears in each of her last three years, including third-team honors as both a sophomore and a senior … selected to the all-league first team four times … named Pioneer Conference MVP as a sophomore, before North Royalton switched athletic conferences … averaged 19.7 points in her senior year, including a school-record 41 points during a win over Valley Forge … scored 19 points per game as a sophomore and 17.2 points per game as a junior … averaged 11.9 points as a freshman … served as a team captain for two seasons … rated the third-best wing in the state by the Ohio Girls Basketball Report … played soccer as a freshman and sophomore, helping North Royalton reach the state semi-finals in 2006 … was elected to the Ohio High School Basketball Association Scholarship society.

 

Personal: Sports Management major … has three sisters … is the daughter of Kathy and Nick.
