Gannon University Athletics

Dacek is expected to compete for a starting spot as a guard. The junior enters her fourth season with the team after redshirting during her first season at Gannon in 2007-08. She has been one of Gannon’s best players off the bench the last two seasons. Dacek is a great passer with the ability to create scoring opportunities.

2009-10 Season: Played in 25 games … was a PSAC Scholar-Athlete … was perfect from the field against Ferris State, scoring eight points on 4-of-4 shooting … dished out eight assists and grabbed a career-high five rebounds against Alaska Fairbanks… recorded first career block against East Stroudsburg … played a season-high 19 minutes against Central State University … scored eight points on 4-of-5 shooting against the Marauders … finished the season 32-of-59, shooting 54.2 percent.

2008-09 Season: Played in 22 games ... was a PSAC Scholar-Athlete ... scored 10 points on 4-of-6 shooting at Concord during her first collegiate game ... was 2-for-2 from three-point range against the Lions ... recorded first career double-double with 13 points and 12 assists against Salem International ... added a season-high six steals against the Tigers ... was 5-of-8 from the field and 2-of-3 from long range against Salem International ... reached double digits in minutes played 12 times, including nine of the first 11 contests.

2007-08 Season: Redshirted.

High School: Played for Mike Pearl at Berea (Ohio) High School ... named conference MVP as a senior ... landed a spot on the all-district honorable-mention squad as a senior ... averaged 13.4 points, 3.8 assists and 2.2 steals as a junior ... was a four-time all-conference selection ... earned all-conference honorable-mention accolades as a freshman ... named to the second team as a sophomore ... landed a spot on the first team as a junior and senior ... dominated the Berea team awards, being named Most Complete Player every year ... named Offensive Player of the Year and Defensive Player of the Year during her career ... was a member of the honor roll.
