Gannon attacker Alexandros Kotskar (Voula, Greece/Athinaiki Agogh) has collected his second WWPA Offensive Player of the Week honor of the season following an eight-goal outing in the regular-season finale, a 19–17 win over Penn State Behrend.
The performance brings him to 87 goals, 26 assists, and 113 points this season, continuing to lead the Golden Knights offensively.
Kotskar has been at the center of the Golden Knight's scoring efficiency all year, including being part of the group that recorded 28 points in back-to-back games against Salem on October 25 and Mercyhurst on October 26, the highest single-game point totals the program has ever produced.
He has also authored a historic career, standing as Gannon's all-time leader in both career goals (319) and career points (419), while also totaling 100 career assists.
This marks the fifth time this season a Golden Knight has earned a WWPA weekly award, and the fourth of Kotskar's career.
Gannon concluded its regular season slate and now turns its attention to the postseason after clinching the No. 1 seed in the WWPA East Region. The Golden Knights will host the 2025 WWPA Championships at the SPIRE Institute in Geneva, Ohio, November 21–23.
