Gannon Inducts 2025 Hall of Fame Class

Star-Studded Class Enters Into GU History

ERIE, PA - On a night to remember, Gannon formally inducted eight former standout student-athletes into the Athletics Hall of Fame. The 2025 class included athletes & coaches from a wide range of sports, all of which displayed tremendous athletic and academic ability during their GU careers. 

Longtime Gannon wrestling coach Don Henry, and student-athletes Larissa (Smith) Anderson '98 (softball), Annie (Greenhill) Demaline '10 (water polo), Mary (Eshenour) Mitchell '11 (lacrosse), Marcus Jones '20 (football), Liam Nadler '14 (football), Amanda Teodorsson '14 (golf) and Joseph Westrick '20 (cross country) were all inducted Saturday at a ceremony in the Yehl Ballroom. In addition, Michael McCormick '62, Phil McCormick '66, Edward McCormick (posthumously), and Erie Beer Company were recognized as the Hall of Fame's Distinguished Service Award recipients for 2025. 

Women's Soccer head coach Colin Petersen was recognized as the Gannon's 2023-24 Coach of the Year. The award is sponsored by U Pick 6.
