MCKEAN, PA– The Gannon men's golf team is in control of the Bud Elwell Invitational on their home course. GU will take a sixteen shot lead heading into the final round tomorrow morning in their final meet before PSAC Championships.
THE KNIGHT CAP
- The Swedish Chef: Rasmus Seppanen (Bastad, Sweden/Akademi Bastad Gymnasium) cooked up a strong first round, shooting one uner to lead the field. What's more impressive: the Swede did this after double-bogeying his first hole of the round.
- Jacob Woah-Lak - The lovable lefty was in his bag of tricks on Sunday. He made four birdies to move into second place heading into the final day.
- Birdie Machine- Giovanni Delorenzi (Reggio Emilia, Italy/International School of Modena) also made four birdies to shoot 74 (+2) for third place.
