Crum returns as Gannon’s starting catcher … has started games in each of the last three seasons.

2009: Saw action in 37 games, all starts … was a PSAC Scholar-Athlete … produced a .314 on-base percentage … drove in a run 56 percent (5-9) of the time when hitting with a runner on third base and less than two outs … had three multiple-hit games and one multiple-RBI game … went 2-for-3 with one run and two RBI against Missouri-St. Louis … added two hits against Indiana (Pa.) and Lock Haven … was hit by a pitch 10 times, the second-highest total on the team and sixth-highest single-season mark in school history … had six sacrifice hits, the third-highest single-season total in school history … recorded 180 putouts, the 10th-highest single-season mark in school history.

2008: Named to the GLIAC All-Academic team ... played in 17 games, starting 11 … recorded a hit and drove in the tying run March 2 against the University of Sciences … had a single and an RBI April 30 against Findlay.

2007: Redshirted.

High School: Played for head coach Duane Mosbacher at Saegertown (Pa.) High School ... was a two-time all-conference first-team selection as a catcher ... selected to the all-conference second team as a sophomore ... named to the Meadville Tribune Dream Team twice as the starting catcher ... selected Saegertown Athlete of the Year as a senior ... contributed to the 2004 Saegertown team that won the District 10 championship and appeared in the Pennsylvania Elite Eight ... was a two-sport athlete, being named to the Meadville Tribune Dream Team twice as a quarterback … listed in “Who’s Who Among American High School Students” ... graduated with honors ... served as the Senior Class President.

Personal: Risk Management major ... has one sister ... son of Mary and Tim Crum ... is a member of the Gannon Dean’s List.
