At Niagara County: Played for head coach Matt Clingersmith … was the teammate of former Golden Knights teammate Ryan Hancy and current teammate as well as brother Joey … named to the National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) All-America third team as a sophomore … selected Spalding NJCAA Defensive Player of the Year … received the Rawlings Gold Glove Award as a shortstop … helped Niagara County advance to the regional final four twice, winning the title and moving into the NJCAA Division III World Series quarterfinals as a sophomore … named to the Niagara County Dean’s List.

High School: Played for head coach Joseph Contento at Niagara Falls (N.Y.) High School … was a four-year letterwinner … named to the all-league first team twice, securing the honor as a junior shortstop and senior pitcher … hit .500 during his junior campaign … helped Niagara Falls advance to the sectional championship game as a sophomore … was part of league championship teams as a sophomore and senior … named to the honor roll every year.
