O’Shei is one of Gannon’s returners with starting experience … expected to compete for time behind the plate or in the infield as a sophomore in 2018.

2017: Saw action in 19 games as a true freshman, starting 14 … received 11 starting assignments at third base and two at catcher … batted in four different lineup spots, including 17 in the first two spots … hit .333 (7-21) against left-handers, .385 (10-26) with runners on base, .400 (2-5) with the bases loaded, .467 (7-15) with runners in scoring position and .421 (8-19) with two outs … reached base 33.3 percent (4-12) of the time when leading off an inning … produced a team-high 10 two-out RBIs … recorded three multiple-RBI games and two multiple-hit performances … recorded his first career hit, run and triple against LIU Post … went 2-for-3 with two runs against the Pioneers … drove home his first two career runs during a 15-2 victory against Wheeling Jesuit at the Russ-Matt Invitational in Winter Haven, Florida … went 2-for-4 with season-highs in RBIs (3) and doubles (2) during a 15-1 win against West Virginia Wesleyan at the Russ-Matt Invitational … ended the season with a six-game hit streak, producing a .400 batting average (6-15) with three runs and three RBIs … was errorless during his first nine collegiate games, spanning 13 fielding opportunities.
