Oruch is one of Gannon’s returning starters in the outfield for the fourth consecutive season as a senior in 2018.

2017: Saw action in 30 games, starting 28 in center field … batted in six different positions of the lineup, including 15 starts in the second spot … tied for the team lead in stolen bases (5) … hit .435 (10-23) against left-handers, .375 (18-48) with runners on base and .406 (13-32) with runners in scoring position … reached base 50 percent (12-24) of the time when leading off an inning … drove home a run 90 percent (9-10) of the time when hitting with a runner on third base and less than two outs … recorded seven multiple-hit games and two multiple-RBI performances … opened the season with a six-game hit streak … hit .458 (11-24) with six runs, four RBIs, three doubles and two stolen bases during the early streak … scored multiple runs in a game three times … was perfect in four at-bats with one RBI, one double and one stolen base against LIU Post … ended the season with 19 consecutive games without an error, spanning 48 fielding opportunities.

2016: Played in 47 games, starting 46 in center field … batted in five different spots in the lineup, topped by 23 appearances in the seventh spot and 19 times in the fifth spot … hit .303 (10-33) against left-handers, .325 (37-114) against right-handers, .363 (29-80) with runners on base, .750 (3-4) with the bases loaded, .358 (19-53) with runners in scoring position and .306 (15-49) with two outs … reached base 38.5 percent (15-39) of the time when leading off an inning … drove home a run 78.6 percent (11-14) of the time when hitting with a runner on third base and less than two outs … recorded 11 two-out RBIs, representing the second-highest total among Golden Knights … had 13 multiple-hit games and seven multiple-RBI performances … recorded at least three hits in a game four times … went 4-for-5 with three runs during a 16-6 victory at Pitt-Johnstown … finished the road twinbill against the Mountain Cats 6-for-8 with six runs … drove in a season-high three runs during wins against Findlay and Lake Erie … scored multiple runs in a game eight times … went 24 consecutive games from March 4-April 18 without an error, spanning 61 fielding opportunities.

2015: Saw action in 37 games as a true freshman, starting 32 … made 20 starts in center field, nine in left field and three in right field … finished fifth on the team in average (.305), fifth in RBIs (16) and fifth in slugging percentage (.411) … hit .333 (25-75) against right-handers, .356 (16-45) with runners on base, .333 (11-33) with runners in scoring position and .300 (9-30) with two outs … reached base 39.1 percent (9-23) of the time when leading off an inning … drove home a run 60 percent (6-10) of the time when hitting with a runner on third base and less than two outs … recorded seven two-out RBIs … produced eight multiple-hit games and four multiple-RBI efforts … made his collegiate debut as a defensive substitution during a 4-0 victory in the season opener at Limestone … received his first career start during the second game of the February 8 doubleheader at Limestone, recording his first career hit and run … went 2-for-3 with a season-best three runs, his first career RBI and two walks against Grand Valley State … posted a season-high three hits in four at-bats during a 12-4 victory against Clarion … tied the mark with another 3-for-4 performance during the regular-season finale at Indiana (Pa.) … recorded a season-high three RBIs during back-to-back games against Clarion and Seton Hill … opened the season with 17 consecutive errorless games, a span of 21 fielding opportunities … concluded the campaign with 14 straight errorless contests, including 28 chances.

High School … was a four-year varsity letterwinner … earned all-area honors three times, being named to the second team as a junior … named to the all-area honorable-mention team as a sophomore and senior … was a three-time all-league selection … named to the all-league second team as a junior, third team as a sophomore and honorable-mention team as a senior … was a two-time All-American Baseball Academy Player of the Month in June of 2012 and August of 2013 … produced a perfect 1.000 fielding percentage … hit .374 as a senior … helped Wissahickon qualify for the district playoffs as a sophomore and junior … was a two-sport athlete, also lettering in soccer.
