High School: Played for head coach Jim Funk at Girard (Pa.) High School … was a two-time all-region selection as a senior, being named to the first team as a quarterback and second team as a defensive back … helped Girard win back-to-back region championships as a junior and senior … was part of a Girard team that finished as the district runner-up during his junior campaign … played in the 77th Annual Save An Eye Game … completed his only pass attempt for two yards and recorded one tackle during the all-star game … graduated in the top 10 percent of his class … was a member of the National Honor Society.

Personal: Accounting major … has one sister … is the son of Amy and Scott.
