2015: Wright is expected to compete for playing time at defensive back as a senior … transferred from Santa Monica (Calif.) College prior to the 2013 campaign.

2014: Did not play.

2013: Started nine games … was Gannon’s eighth-leading tackler with 39 stops … had 24 solo tackles and 15 assisted stops … kicked off the campaign with a season-high 10 tackles against Lake Erie, including six via the solo variety … added six tackles against Slippery Rock, California (Pa.) and Lock Haven … recorded his first interception as a Golden Knight during the season finale against Lock Haven.

At Santa Monica College: Played for head coach Gifford Lindeheim … named to the all-conference second team … finished third on the team in tackles (57) as a sophomore … averaged 5.2 tackles per game … recorded four interceptions and 16 pass break-ups … helped Santa Monica win back-to-back conference championships.

High School: Played for head coach Don Morrow at Mira Costa (Calif.) High School … named to the All-Bay League and All-Area first teams … earned All-CIF second-team accolades … helped Mira Costa win the CIF Division en route to a state championship.

Personal: Criminal Justice major … has two sisters … is the son of Reshelle and Ricardo Sr.
