2015: Markulin is expected to compete for playing time on the offensive line as a redshirt senior.

2014: Saw action in three games … named a Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Scholar-Athlete … played against Cheyney, Edinboro and Seton Hill … helped Gannon average 549 yards of total offense during the three games he played in … was part of a line that paved the way for the Golden Knights’ 260 rushing yards and 289 passing yards per game when he played.

2013: Played in two games … named a PSAC Scholar-Athlete … saw his first collegiate action against rival Edinboro … made his second appearance against Seton Hill.

2012: Did not play.

2011: Redshirted.

High School: Played for head coach Jeff Whittaker at Liberty (Ohio) High School ... was a three-year letterwinner ... tabbed one of Ohio’s Top 100 Players to Watch prior to his senior season … voted Liberty’s Best Offensive and Defensive Lineman as a senior ... earned all-conference accolades as an offensive and defensive lineman ... selected to play in the Jack Arvin’s Trumbull County vs. Mahoning County All-Star Game … received the “Best Attitude” award as a junior ... helped Liberty advance to the postseason as a sophomore ... received several academic and band awards ... was a member of the honor roll ... received the scholastic award twice ... was a member of the National Honor Society ... received the President’s Award for Outstanding Academic Excellence ... was a member of the honors program … graduated with honors … received the President’s Education Award … was a member of the National Society of High School Scholars.
