ERIE, Pa. — Gannon women's golf returns to the postseason this week with its sights set on continuing history, as the Golden Knights compete at the PSAC Championships at Berkleigh Golf Club. Gannon enters the three-day tournament as the six-time defending conference champion, looking to extend one of the most dominant runs in PSAC history.

The Golden Knights have once again put together a strong and consistent campaign in 2025-26. Gannon captured three team tournament titles this season and recorded nine top-five finishes. Their ability to produce low scores across multiple events has positioned them well once again heading into the championships.

The Golden Knights have finished in the top 10 in every single tournament they have competed in this season. This includes several competitions with ranked teams, including challenging fields at the Pawley's Island Beach Bash, Vulcan Fire Classic, Findianapolis Intercollegiate, ODU NC4K, and TU-WU Spring Classic, specifically this spring.

Last year, Gannon made it six straight PSAC championships on Sunday as the Golden Knights closed out the 2025 PSAC Championships with a 54-hole total of 966, 102-over par. They won the tournament by 20 strokes.

Gannon's success has been driven by a combination of veteran leadership and emerging talent. The lineup features several players who have consistently finished near the top of leaderboards, giving the Golden Knights both experience and scoring depth as they chase another conference crown. Most all of the lineup you'll see this week has competed on one or multiple conference championship winning teams throughout their career.

From Head Coach Scott Stano
"This is the best week of the year! We truly enjoy PSAC Championship week and are excited for the upcoming championship. The team has been improving each week and are very much looking forward to the challenge of the postseason. We had a really solid week of practice and believe we can execute our game plan. Our focus, as it always has been, will be to worry about one shot at a time. As our good friend, Joe Mattis, would say, "Smile and have fun. The rest will take care of itself". We're excited for the opportunity to defend our title!"
