Six Golden Knights Named to IWLCA Academic Honor Roll

NORTHBOROUGH, Mass. – The Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association today announced its 2025 IWLCA Division II Academic Honor Roll, with six Gannon University players among those honored. The IWLCA recognized 588 student-athletes from 84 institutions. To be eligible for this honor, student-athletes must be a junior, senior, or graduate student and have earned a cumulative academic GPA of 3.50 or greater.

Gannon's six honorees included seniors Avrey Kirisits (Lancaster, N.Y./Lancaster Central) and Caroline Stevens (Syracuse, N.Y./Liverpool) along with juniors Riley Finnegan (Oviedo, Fla./Oviedo), Alyssa Lerch (Coraopolis, Pa./Moon Area), Marin Paulenko (Calgary, Alberta, Canada/Robert Thirsk), and Kayla Thompson (Patchogue, N.Y./Patchogue-Medford). Stevens also earned the honor in 2024.
