The Gannon University women's lacrosse team will conclude its 2025 season on the road Saturday, April 26, with a noon matchup at Seton Hill Dick's Sporting Goods Field in Greensburg, Pa.
The Golden Knights (5-11, 2-7 PSAC West) head into the finale riding momentum from a dominant 22-6 win over Edinboro. That victory was highlighted by a pair of major milestones: senior
Caroline Stevens (Syracuse, N.Y./Liverpool) set a new Gannon single-game record with 16 draw controls, and
Ella Todd (Maple Ridge, British Columbia/Maple Ridge Secondary) reached the 100-goal mark for her career.
Stevens now sits just three draw controls away from tying the program's single-season record of 102, set by Leilani King during the 2017 campaign. The veteran midfielder enters Saturday with 99 on the year and will look to etch her name atop the record book in her final collegiate appearance.
Todd, meanwhile, leads Gannon in total points with 64 (29 goals, 35 assists), while Stevens and
Charlie Hunter (Boston, N.Y./Hamburg) pace the team with 41 goals each. As a unit, the Golden Knights have recorded 173 goals this season and hold a 239–199 advantage in draw controls.
Saturday's contest marks a rematch of their April 6 meeting in Erie. Gannon will look to flip the script and close out the year with a statement win.
