Hunter, Manning Earn All-PSAC West Honors

Hunter Earns Gannon’s First First-Team Selection Since 2017; Manning Collects Second Career Second-Team Honor

Charlie Hunter (Boston, N.Y./Hamburg) and Haleigh Manning (Milton, Ga./Cambridge) of the Gannon University women's lacrosse team earned All-PSAC West honors, as announced by the conference on Tuesday afternoon. Hunter, a native of Boston, New York, was named a First Team All-PSAC West midfielder, while Manning, a native of Milton, Georgia, earned Second Team recognition at the goalie position.

This marks the first All-PSAC accolade of Hunter's career and Gannon's first First Team selection since 2017, when Leilani King earned the honor. Hunter led the Golden Knights with 44 goals and added four assists for 48 total points. She also recorded 58 draw controls, 38 ground balls, and 27 caused turnovers, establishing herself as one of the top midfielders in the PSAC West.

Manning collected All-PSAC West Second Team honors for the second time in her career, previously earning the same distinction in 2023. The senior goalkeeper finished the 2025 season with 133 saves, a .478 save percentage, and a 12.90 goals-against average across 13 appearances. Manning ranked third among all PSAC goalies in save percentage this season, providing a steady presence in the cage for the Golden Knights. She was selected as the Second Team goalie for the West Division, with Lock Haven's Gretchen King earning First Team honors.

Hunter was one of four midfielders named to the First Team, joining Isabella Buono (Slippery Rock), Emme Mass (IUP), and Leora Owings (Slippery Rock).

The PSAC West major award winners included Seton Hill's Mila Udovicic as Athlete of the Year, Slippery Rock's Paige Jenkins as Defensive Player of the Year, Lock Haven's Gretchen King as Freshman of the Year, and Slippery Rock's Taryn Burkholder as Coach of the Year.

Gannon concluded the 2025 season with a 5-12 overall record and a 2-8 mark in PSAC West play.
