E (72) - Round 1 Score -
E (72)
Delorenzi flourished on the opening nine holes for the second day in a row. After going 2-under 34 in the opening round first nine, the Italian kept up the pace today, securing a birdie on the par five 12th hole. He would shoot even par on the rest of the first nine for a 1-under 35. Another birdie at hole 2 soon followed, and Delorenzi earned his third birdie of the day on the 5th after a bogey on 4. Back to back bogeys at 7 and 8 saw him move back to even, where he concluded his day. Another strong two day performance, Delorenzi finshed solo fifth, just five back of the first place finisher.
Jacob Wolak (Slippery Rock, Pa./Slippery Rock Area) (Slippery Rock, Pa./Slippery Rock Area) - Round 2 Score -
+2 (74) - Round 1 Score -
+11 (83)
Wolak was a different player in round two than in opening round action. In both situations where he bogeyed a hole (11 & 2), he immediately followed things up with a birdie to respond, cashing in on the 12th and 3rd holes. A double on 17 was the only other mark to his scorecard, as a consistent Wolak turned in a 2-over 74, including an even par finishing nine holes. The 74 is just three off his season low, and nearly three strokes better than his season average. Wolak would finish T-37, but climbed 26 spots on the leaderboard from yesterday.
Kyle Westfall (Erie, Pa./Northwest Pennsylvania Collegiate Academy (Erie)) Round 2 Score -
+3 (75) - Round 1 Score -
+3 (75)
Westfall continued his consistent play from day one with a matching 3-over 75 in round two, both rounds right at his scoring average for the season. Three bogeys on 10, 13, and 16 left him searching for a birdie before the turn, which he converted on the par four 18th. The Erie native suffered bogeys on 2 and 4, but rebounded with a birdie on the par four 7th to climb back to 3-over, his finishing score. Moving up in the leaderboard, Westfall collected a T-13th finish, his best placement of the season to date.
Mattia Parrini (Verolengo, Italy/Verolengo) (Verolengo, Italy/Verolengo) - Round 2 Score -
+3 (75) - Round 1 Score -
+5 (77)
Parrini was one hole away from finishing a spectacular day of golf. The Italian came out of the gates at a blistering pace, securing an eagle on the par five 10th hole. All he did to follow that up was another eagle on the following par five 12th hole, and after a birdie on the 13th, Parrini was five under just four holes into the day. He would finish in red numbers heading into the turn with a 3-under 33. A third birdie of the day came at the par three 3rd hole following a bogey on two, and the sophomore cruised through to the final hole with pars to stay three under. However, the finishing par five 9th proved to be difficult, as Parrini carded an 11 to finish 3-over 75 for the round. Despite the tough finish, he still climbed 16 spots on the leaderboard to rocket to a T-16th place finish for the two day event.
Rasmus Seppanen (Bastad, Sweden/Akademi Bastad Gymnasium) - Round 2 Score -
+6 (78) - Round 1 Score -
+2 (74)
The Swede flipped his fortune from the start of his round yesterday, finding a birdie on the par five 10th after bogeying the first hole in round one. Seppanen would par the next five holes but go double/bogey/bogey on 7, 8, & 9. Two doubles on the final nine holes preceded a birdie on the 9th, his final hole of the day, leading to a 78 and 8-over for the tournament. Still a strong individual finisher, Seppanen would fall just outside the top 15th, earned a T-16th in the first event of the spring.
Michael Wareham (Murrysville, Pa./Franklin Regional) - Round 2 Score
+9 (81) - Round 1 Score -
+1 (73)
A tremendous first round that saw him collect three birdies, Wareham carded one birdie in the final round. His 3 on the par four 18th gave him momentum heading into the turn. Bogeys on 1 and 2 left him 7-over with seven to play, but pars on all but the 4th hole (double bogey) led to a 40 on the back nine, and an 81 overall for the day. He finished in a four way tie for 25th.
Vincent Lenze (St. Marys, Pa./St. Marys Area) (IND) - Round 2 Score -
+10 (82) - Round 1 Score -

A round similar in score to his first, Lenze started off with a double bogey, but found pars on four of the first nine holes. After making the turn, the native of PA ended his day with a birdie on the par five 9th to salvage a 40 coming in. Just his sixth round of the year, Lenze ended his two day tourney T-64.

+13 (85) - Round 1 Score -
