Gannon defender Maddy Endler (Salem, Ore./West Salem) has been named the PSAC Defensive Athlete of the Week, the conference announced Monday afternoon.

The recognition marks Endler's first career weekly conference honor and becomes the team's 10th PSAC weekly award this season.

Endler helped Gannon secure its eighth shutout of the season in a 3–0 win over Clarion to close out the regular season. She anchored a back line that limited Clarion to just four total shots and one on goal, while also assisting on the Golden Knights' third goal.

A consistent presence for Gannon all year, Endler has started and played in all 18 regular-season matches, providing stability and organization across the back line.

The No. 9 Golden Knights now turn their attention to the postseason, opening play in the PSAC Women's Soccer Quarterfinal on Tuesday, November 11, at 6:00 PM against Shepherd at McConnell Family Stadium.
