Fadale Earns CSC Academic All- American® Honors for Second Straight Year

AUSTIN, Texas – It has been a memorable senior season for Gannon's Ella Fadale (Brockport, N.Y./Brockport). On the heels of earning All-American honors for her play on the pitch on Wednesday she was accorded another honor for her academic prowess. Fadale has been named to the 2025 Division II Academic All-America® Women's Soccer Team as selected by the College Sports Communicators. Fadale earned a spot on the first team.

Fadale is a Nursing major with a 3.62 GPA. She is now a two-time CSC Academic All- American® after earning third team honors a year ago.

A week ago the midfielder was named to the 2025 United Soccer Coaches All-American Team, earning a spot on the second team. In addition she was selected to the D2CCA All-American First Team. She helped Gannon finish with a 16-3-2 record. The Golden Knights reached the second round of the NCAA Div. II Atlantic Regional.

Fadale overcame a serious injury late in the 2023 season to enjoy the finest season of her career. She led Gannon with 16 goals, adding an assist for a team-high 33 points. She also had a team-high five game-winning goals. She finished second in the PSAC and tied for eighth nationally in goals and was tied for 15th in total points.

Fadale's 16 goals rank third in a season, two shy of the school record while the 33 points are tied for seventh. She concluded her career tied for fifth in career goals (34) while standing seventh in career points (73).

The native of Brockport, N.Y. is a three-time first team All-PSAC West honoree and was named the 2022 PSAC West Freshman of the Year. She was a first team D2CCA All-Atlantic Region pick this year.
