Gannon women's soccer senior midfielder
Ella Fadale (Brockport, N.Y./Brockport) has earned both conference and national recognition following a dominant week for the Golden Knights.
Fadale was named the PSAC Women's Soccer Offensive Athlete of the Week and the TopDrawerSoccer.com Division II Women's Player of the Week after leading Gannon to a perfect 3–0 record with victories over Seton Hill, No. 24 Adelphi, and California (Pa.).
Fadale was unstoppable throughout the week, scoring four goals and adding one assist across the three wins. She recorded back-to-back two-goal performances against Seton Hill and nationally ranked Adelphi, marking the first time in her career she has scored multiple goals in consecutive matches.
Over the three-game span, Fadale totaled six goals and one assist, including two in Gannon's previous outing, giving her an incredible run of form to pace the Golden Knight attack.
The Brockport, N.Y. native continues to pace one of Division II's top offenses, leading the Golden Knights with 12 goals on the season — a total that currently ranks second nationally, trailing only IUP's Elle Smith (17).
This marks the eighth women's soccer weekly honor of the season for Gannon and the third career PSAC weekly award for Fadale.
Behind Fadale's offensive spark, the Golden Knights remain unbeaten at 12–0–1 overall and 8–0–1 in PSAC West play, positioning themselves among the top programs in the Atlantic Region as the second half of conference play begins.
