For the second consecutive week, Gannon's
Maddie Miller (Wexford, Pa./North Allegheny) has been named the PSAC West Defensive Athlete of the Week, marking her second career honor and the seventh all-time for the No. 7 Gannon women's soccer program.
Miller anchored a Gannon back line that limited Clarion and Seton Hill to a combined three goals across two matches while controlling possession and tempo throughout.
 She also contributed offensively, scoring twice to help guide the Golden Knights to a 7–2 PSAC West victory at Clarion, wrapping up the first round of conference play in dominant fashion.
She also helped the Golden Knights stay unbeaten at home, where they have allowed just two goals across five matches this season.
The Golden Knightscimproved to 10-0-1 overall and 7-0-1 in PSAC West action following the weekend sweep.
