MCKEAN, PA– The Gannon women's golf team finished out the fall portion of the season on a high note, winning the Michael Corbett Fall Classic on their home course. GU will now take a break from tournaments for the fall and will prepare for the spring portion of the season in March. 

THE KNIGHT CAP

• Cloe's Big Day - Cloe Mateo (Sabadell, Spain/Montcau la Mola) was exceptional on Monday. Trailing entering the day, Mateo carded a one over 73 to claim first on the individual leaderboard after the leader through 17 holes double bogeyed the final after a Mateo par.
• Top Three - Alex LeCureux and Emily Donahue (Grove City, Pa./Grove City) were also tremendous, tying for third. Between the two, there were five total birdies made, leading to GU to take three of the top four sports on the leaderboard.  
• Anastasia In The Top 10 - In her first home meet of her career, Anastasia Lopes (Noverasco di opera (MI), Italy/ISTITUTI DEAMICIS MILANO) took home ninth place to put four Golden Knights in the top ten. 

• Team Title - The Golden Knights had the lead early on day one and never looked back, picking up their second win of the season.
