After a long break from competition, Coach
Milan Medo's men's and women's swimming teams are set to return to the pool for a meet against the Purple Eagles. The event will take place at the Oxy Aquatic Center in Niagara on Saturday, January 11, starting at 1:00 PM.
The Gannon University swim teams will begin their 2025 schedule as they prepare for the PSAC Championships, which will be held from February 17 to 20 in York, Pennsylvania. Both Golden Knight teams recently finished in first place at the Malone Invitational in November.

Women
- The Golden Knights scored 1,640 points to win the three-day event.
- Sophomore Emily Hedges (Peachtree Corners, Ga./St Pius X Catholic) set a school record in the 200-meter fly with a time of 2:05.52, breaking her previous record of 2:06.01 set at the 2024 PSAC Championships.
The Golden Knights enter Saturday's dual with a record of 2-1 and are currently on a two-meet winning streak after losing the season opener against Clarion (160.5-76.5). Gannon recorded its first win of the season on October 25 against RIT, finishing with a score of 156-138. They followed this with a second dual victory against IUP on November 9, winning 142-119.
Men
- Gannon triumphed in the three-day event, achieving 1,738 points out of 16 teams.
Gannon enters Saturday with a 1-2 record. The Golden Knights achieved their first win of the season against PSAC rival IUP, breaking three pool records and securing ten first-place finishes. After a dominant victory at the Malone Invitational, Head Coach

- Earned victories against St. Bonaventure (147-133), Cleveland State (120-85), Youngstown State (186-72), Saint Francis (161-82), and Stonehill (178-76).
- Finished 8th out of 10 teams in Cleveland State's Magnus Cup.
Men
- Enters Saturday's meet with a record of 1-2
- Earned a victory over Youngstown State, defeating them 154-108.
- Finished 5th out of six teams in Cleveland State's Magnus Cup.

The Golden Knights will be back in action on Saturday, January 18, when they travel to take on Oberlin and Malone. The tri-meet will begin at 1:00 p.m. at Carr Pool in Oberlin, Ohio.
