ERIE, Pa. – The No. 2-ranked Gannon women's soccer team will play for the first time in more than a week when it hosts Clarion on Wednesday in a PSAC West game at McConnell Family Stadium.
Coach
Colin Petersen's Golden Knights are 4-0 overall and 2-0 in the PSAC West while outscoring its opposition 11-1. After allowing a goal less than two minutes into the season, Gannon has now held opponents scoreless for 358 consecutive minutes over four games.
Gannon has been led by sophomore
Brooklyn Respecki (McKean, Pa./General McLane), who is tied for fourth in NCAA Division II with six goals. She is also tied for third in the nation with three game-winning goals.
Gannon remained ranked No. 2 nationally and No. 1 in the Atlantic Region in the latest United Soccer Coaches Division II poll. (See poll above.)

Freshman forward Jessie Watkins (Bowie, Md./Bowie): She has made an impact in her first year as a center forward. She has two goals and one assist.
Sophomore midfielder Grace Emanuel (Erie, Pa./McDowell): Although she is still looking for her first goal, Emanuel leads the Golden Knights with three assists.
Graduate student goalie Morgan Sinan (Cranberry Twp., Pa./Seneca Valley): The team captain and veteran goalie has three shutouts and a 0.25 goals-against average.
