The Gannon acrobatics and tumbling team remained No. 3 in the third and final set of NCATA Championship Rankings on Wednesday.
Coach 
Brandy Duren's Golden Knights closed the regular season with a 6-2 record after losing their final two meets. However, those losses came at No. 1 Baylor and at No. 2 Quinnipiac. As a results, NCATA kept the status quo for Gannon, which had beaten four consecutive team from NCATA's Top 10 Preseason Poll.
The 2024 NCATA Tournament bracket will be announced on Monday, April 15. The NCATA Championships will take place April 25-28 at Fairmont State University in Fairmont, W.Va.

Also on Wednesday, NCATA named Gannon's 
Ty Upton (South Amboy, N.J./St. Thomas Aquinas) as Honorable Mention for NCATA Athlete of the Week, and 
Alexandria DeAngelis (Audubon, N.J./Camden Catholic High School) was selected as Honorable Mention for NCATA Freshman of the Week.
Upton, a junior top and base, competed in 10 heats and the team event for Gannon last week against Quinnipiac. Her performance was highlighted by nine scores of 9.50 or higher, including a 9.80 in the compulsory pyramid and a 9.775 in her individual tumbling pass, the aerial.
DeAngelis, a base and back, competed in seven heats and the team event for Gannon. Her performance was highlighted by a 9.80 in the compulsory pyramid and a pair of 9.70 scores in the compulsory toss and 450 salto toss.
