The Gannon women's basketball team will host rival Edinboro in the PSAC Tournament quarterfinals on Wednesday.
The Fighting Scots (17-11) held on to defeat Erie County rival Mercyhurst 63-62 on Monday night in a PSAC first-round game at McComb Fieldhouse.
Gannon (29-2) won the PSAC West regular-season title, gained the No. 1 Western seed, and received a first-round bye. The Golden Knights will host the No. 4-seeded Scots on Wednesday at 5:30 p.m. at Hagerty Family Events Center in the first game of a doubleheader.
The Gannon men's basketball team will face either IUP of Mercyhurst in the second game on Wednesday. (IUP and Mercyhurst played later Monday night.)
The Gannon women defeated Edinboro twice during the regular season, 90-76 at Edinboro on Jan. 10 and 57-54 at Hagerty Family Events Center on Feb. 7.

Gannon will hold a general admission ticket presale for the PSAC quarterfinal doubleheader on Tuesday, March 5, from 8 a.m.-12 p.m. and 2-6 p.m. at the Gannon Recreation and Wellness Center, located at 130 West 4th Street.
Ticket prices are set by the PSAC and cost $10 for general admission adults and $5 for general admission students. Students at PSAC institutions are admitted free of charge with a valid school ID. One ticket will be good for both games of the PSAC quarterfinal doubleheader.
Cash or credit/debit card will be accepted, but please note there will be a processing fee for cards.
Doors for the PSAC quarterfinal doubleheader on Wednesday, March 6, will open at 4 p.m. Tickets may also be bought at the door for as long as tickets remain.
