Six Gannon University divers competed at the D-II PA School Diving Invitational hosted by Clarion Friday evening at Waldo S. Tippin Natatorium.
On the 1-meter boards,
Kollin Schwab (Erie, Pa./McDowell) tallied a score of 208.80, while
Max Campbell (Erie, Pa./Cathedral Prep) finished with 176.60. Clarion's Zach Schering won the event with a first-place mark of 475.50. The 3-meter boards included Schwab earning 205.55 and Campbell a 162.10 to conclude the men's side. Scherling collected another win for the Golden Eagles tallying a first-place score of 510.65.
On the women's side,
Kyla Miller (Wilbraham, Mass./Minnechaug Regional) led the women's on the 1-meter boards with a score of 203.25.
Madeline Kless (Highland Heights, Ohio/Mayfield) registered a score of 154.00, while
Alexandra Briggs (Newark, N.Y./Newark) 151.20.
Nicole Spiegel (East Amherst, N.Y./Clarence) rounded out the Golden Knight effort with a 136.80-point effort. Clarion's Alexa Gonczi won the event with a first-place score of 432.35.
Kless led the women in the 3-meter registering a score of 130.60, while Spiegel recorded a 129.65 to conclude the Golden Knight effort. Gonczi earned her second win of the night for the Golden Eagles with 490.70.
