The Gannon women's soccer team will look to stay unbeaten for the season when it travels to Amherst, N.Y., to take on Daemen University on Tuesday in a non-conference matchup.
Coach
Colin Petersen's Golden Knights enter the action with an 8-0-3 overall record, while Daemen takes a 6-6 overall mark into the game. The Wildcats are members of the East Coast Conference. This only the second meeting between the programs.
Gannon is ranked No. 7 in Division II in the latest United Soccer Coaches poll. The Knights are ranked No. 1 in the Atlantic Region.
The Golden Knights have played remarkable defense all season. They have allowed just four goals in 11 games, including eight shutouts, while scoring 26 goals.

Golden Knights to Watch:
Junior midfielder Ella Fadale (Brockport, N.Y./Brockport): She was named PSAC West Women's Soccer Athlete of the Week after scoring the game-winning goal in a 2-0 victory over Edinboro on Saturday. She had missed more than a month with an injury.
Sophomore midfielder Grace Emanuel (Erie, Pa./McDowell): She scored against Edinboro on Saturday now ranks second on the team with seven goals, four assists, and 18 points.
Graduate student goalie Morgan Sinan (Cranberry Twp., Pa./Seneca Valley): She has a 0.37 goals-against average after allowing four goals in 961 minutes of action. She has made 23 saves and has six shutouts.
Scouting Daemen: The Wildcats have a standout in junior forward Kylie Miranto. She paced Daemen with nine goals and 22 points. She has a hat trick and a pair of two-goal games. Chloe Cardone and Magda Carpenter have three goals apiece. Becca Schultz has played all 1080 minutes for Daemen and has 98 saves. She has a 1.58 goals-against average and save percentage of 0.838.
