The Gannon University women's soccer team will look to stay in first place in the PSAC West on Saturday afternoon when the Golden Knights visit Clarion.

Coach Colin Petersen's Golden Knights enter the weekend tied for first with Mercyhurst in the PSAC West standings with 21 points. The Knights and Lakers are both 7-2-3 overall and 6-1-3 in the conference.

Gannon will meet Clarion at 4 p.m. on Saturday at Memorial Stadium. The Golden Eagles (2-9-1, 1-8-1) come into the game in ninth place in the nine-team PSAC West.

Clarion has struggled offensively with only four goals all season and only one goal in its past 11 games. That goal came in a 1-0 win over IUP.

Gannon tied Slippery Rock 0-0 in its last game on Wednesday.
