Dustin Coleman's Golden Knights won their fifth consecutive tournament title and senior
Abe Holmes (Barrie, Ontario/Barrie North Collegiate) claimed his fourth individual title on Monday in Clarion University's Hal Hansen Invitational.
Gannon, which trailed by one stroke after Sunday's opening round, earned an eight-stroke victory in the 12-team tournament after shooting 301-301-602, a 26-over-par total, at Grove City Country Club.
Meanwhile, Holmes shot a 4-over-par 76 in windy conditions Monday to finish with a two-day total of 3-over-par 147 and claim a one-shot win. He trailed by one stroke on Sunday after he opened with a 1-under 71. It was the fourth title in five tournaments for Holmes this fall.
Michael Wareham (Murrysville, Pa./Franklin Regional) and
Dylan Flinchbaugh (Saegertown/Saegertown) tied for 10th with 151, and
Ryan Ferry (Meadville, Pa./Meadville) and
Giovanni Delorenzi (Reggio Emilia, Italy) tied for 14th at 152.
Shaunak Rama (Bryanston, South Africa) card a 154 and
Elijah Ruppert (Fleetwood, Pa./Brandywine Heights) rounded out the scoring at 161. Rama and Flinchbaugh each played as individuals.
In addition to the Hal Hansen Invite, the Golden Knights have won the California Vulcan Invitational, Mercyhurst's Evann Parker Memorial, Gannon's own Howard "Bud" Elwell Invitational, and Allegheny's Guy and Jeanne Kuhn Invitational.
Holmes earlier won the Vulcan Invitational, Evann Parker Memorial, and the Kuhn Invitational. Rama, meanwhile, won the Elwell Invitational.
That concludes the fall regular season for Gannon, which will prepare for the PSAC Championships on Oct. 14-16 at Iron Valley Golf Club in Lebanon, Pa.
