EVENT NOTES
  • Luus sliced a third of a second off his previous 100 backstroke win, and moved up a spot to No. 5 on the Gannon Top 10 board with his 50.97 Saturday. That was nearly five full seconds faster than the second-place finisher. The freshman also led off both the Golden Knights' winning relays.
  • McCallum won three total events on the night, including individual wins in the 100 and 200 free, and capped his night with a win in the 400 free relay.
  • Joey Campbell finished second in the 1-meter dive, and in the process went for a new career high with a 236.70.
  • The Golden Knights won nine of 13 events overall, including nine of 11 swimming events. They also finished 1-2 in four of those — the 200 medley relay, 200 free, 100 free and 100 breast.
