EVENT NOTES

Luus sliced a third of a second off his previous 100 backstroke win, and moved up a spot to No. 5 on the Gannon Top 10 board with his 50.97 Saturday. That was nearly five full seconds faster than the second-place finisher. The freshman also led off both the Golden Knights' winning relays.
McCallum won three total events on the night, including individual wins in the 100 and 200 free, and capped his night with a win in the 400 free relay.
Joey Campbell finished second in the 1-meter dive, and in the process went for a new career high with a 236.70.
The Golden Knights won nine of 13 events overall, including nine of 11 swimming events. They also finished 1-2 in four of those — the 200 medley relay, 200 free, 100 free and 100 breast.

UP NEXT

Gannon continues its torrid pace through the 2020-21 regular season next Saturday, heading to Indiana (Pa.) for a dual.
The Crimson Hawks are 2-0 after defeating Clarion and Wheeling in duals over the past two weeks.
