  • Saturday is a meeting of the best in the west as Indiana and Gannon sit in the top two spots in the PSAC West. Gannon looks to defend their 6-0 home record against IUP who is off to a 6-0 road record to start the year. The Knights are coming off a dominating home win over Seton Hill. Four players scored in double-figures to help the Knights to their sixth straight win. The Crimson Hawks are ranked eighth in the WBCA national poll and 15th in the D2SIDA national poll. IUP has won 11 straight games since falling to No. 22 Glenville State in early November.

SCOUTING GANNON
  • Wednesday's win vs. Seton Hill marks the first time this season that two players scored double-figures. Haley Tewes (Waterford, Mich./Waterford Kettering) scored a game-high 22 points. Her 22 points is a new career-high. She just scored a new high of 16 points at Pitt-Johnstown, which she quickly surpassed vs. the Griffins. Chelsea Rourke (Gibsonia, Pa./Pine-Richland) added 21 points on 5-of-6 from the arc. She hit three straight in the third quarter alone.
  • For the first time since January 2018, the Knights were perfect from the free throw line vs. Seton Hill. Gannon went 9-for-9 from the foul line. Tori Obenrader (Fryburg, Pa./North Clarion), Tewes, Mitchell, and Ali Benim (/Harbor Creek) were all 2-for-2, while Sam Pirosko (Eastlake, Ohio/Eastlake North) was 1-for-1.
  • For the third straight game, four players scored double-figures leading to a Gannon win. The Knights are now 9-0 when four players score 10+ points in a game. Tewes, Obenrader, and Pirosko were three of the four players in all three games. Tewes scored 22 vs. SHU, 16 vs. UPJ, and 12 vs. Edinboro. Obenrader scored 14 vs. SHU, 20 vs. UPJ, and 17 vs. Edinboro. Pirosko scored 13 vs. SHU, 13 vs. UPJ, and 10 vs. Edinboro. Tewes 22 points is a career-high, while Pirosko's 13 is also a career-high.
