Gannon Men Turn In 16 PSAC Times On Way To Fourth Dual Win Of Season

The Short Story: Justin Decheck (Plum Borough, Pa./Plum Senior), Luke Engel (Jersey Shore, Pa./Jersey Shore) and Brent Benedict (Corry, Pa./Corry) each won a pair of individual events, and 10 different Gannon swimmers put up a PSAC time as the Golden Knights earned a PSAC dual victory over Shippensburg Friday.

EVENT NOTES

Benedict and Engel were each part of both relay teams, giving the duo four event wins apiece on the night.
Despite limited events to get them in, the Golden Knights still turned in 16 PSAC qualifying times. Bolmanski provided three of those, finishing runner-up in each of his three individual events.
Gannon finished 1-2 in six events on the night, including sweeping the top three spots in the 200 back.
Schwab edged closer to the NCAA qualifying mark with his six-dive score of 260 Friday. The NCAA standard is 285.

UP NEXT

Gannon makes a quick turnaround, heading to the Cleveland area to face off against John Carroll in another dual Saturday evening.
