GANNON SCORES
EVENT NOTES
- Marsico carded three birdies and played the final seven holes of the day at 1-under to find himself in a tie for eighth in the 107-player field after 18 holes, just two shots back of second place.
- As a team, the Golden Knights shot 20-over 308 to sit alone in 10th place after the first day. They are just one shot back of ninth-place Indiana (Pa.), and four shots out of a tie for fourth place.
- Gannon led the field in Par 3 average on the day at 3.20 strokes per.
- A lightning delay midway through Gannon's round in the afternoon led to a late-evening finish. The Knights tee off beginning at 8:20 Friday morning from the 10th tee.
- Cal (t4th, 304) and IUP (9th, 307) are the only PSAC teams to top Gannon in the first round.
- The team leaderboard is tightly packed, with 12 teams from fourth through 15th separated by fewer than 10 strokes. Gannon is as close to second place (298) as it is to 19th (318).
- The individual scores provide no more clarity. Outside of leader Matt Paradis of Southern New Hampshire, who fired a 5-under 67, second through the 53rd golfer are separated by just six strokes heading into the final 36 holes.

- The Knights get a morning tee time in Friday's second round back at Totteridge.
