SCOUTING GANNON
  • Gannon nearly broke a program record in the 80-73 win over West Chester Saturday afternoon. The Knights shot a season-high 61.7 percent from the field falling just shy of the program's single-game record of 64.2 percent. Daria-Hanna Koul (Minsk, Belarus/J. Addison) and Delaney Dogan (West Middlesex, Pa./West Middlesex) were perfect from the field to help the Knights post the season-best.
  • The Knights notched two straight games with 20 or more assists vs. West Chester and Millersville to finally find their groove offensively. Boston McKinney (Bolivar, Ohio/Tuscarawas Valley) nearly recorded her first double-double with 10 points and eight assists to lead the team. Sydney Mitchell (Baltimore, Md./Seton Keough) also tallied six assists in the game. Against Millersville, the team tallied a season-high 26 assists in the game. Chelsea Rourke (Gibsonia, Pa./Pine-Richland) and Boston McKinney (Bolivar, Ohio/Tuscarawas Valley) each finished with seven assists. This was the third time Rourke matched her career-high. Mitchell also recorded another six assists to finish with 12 on the week.
  • Five Gannon players scored in double-figures vs. West Chester and Millersville. The West Chester game was the first time this happened all season. Tori Obenrader (Fryburg, Pa./North Clarion) led the way with 14 points. Chelsea Rourke (Gibsonia, Pa./Pine-Richland) added 13 points, and both Obenrader and Rourke knocked down two three-pointers. Haley Tewes (Waterford, Mich./Waterford Kettering) matched her career-high 12 points, and Boston McKinney (Bolivar, Ohio/Tuscarawas Valley) and Emily Poling (Defiance, Ohio/Defiance) each scored 10 in the win. Against Millersville, Obenrader notched her sixth straight double-figure performance with a team-high 18 points. Poling was 4-of-4 from the arc with 14 points, while Sydney Mitchell (Baltimore, Md./Seton Keough) added 12. Rourke scored 11, and Tewes added another 10. McKinney fell one point short with nine. The Knights are also 5-0 when at least three players score in double-figures.
  • The Knights have poured in the points over their last four games having scored at least 80 in each. They are currently averaging 88 points per game in their four game win streak. Gannon posted back-to-back 90-point performances vs. Fairmont State and Lake Erie for the first time since the 2013-14 season. They followed up Lake Erie's performance with another 80 points vs. West Chester and 87 vs. Millersville.

SCOUTING OPPONENTS
