  • After a slow start to begin the season against some tough competition, the Gannon men's soccer team rolled off seven wins in a row.
  • The Golden Knights enter the conference tournament with a 3-1-1 mark in their last five games.
  • Gannon is 6-2 at home this season and have outscored its opponents by an 18-6 margin at McConnell Family Stadium.
  • Sam Thornton (Rotherham, England/Wickersley School and Sports College) is tied for the conference lead with 11 goals and leads the league with 4.69 shots/game.
  • Alex Lee Yaw (Jamestown, N.Y./Mercyhurst Prep) has put his skills on display to close out the regular season, with goals in four of the last five games. Lee Yaw has scored five times this season despite playing in just six games.

  • While Mehnaoui has been superb, the back line of the Gannon defense cannot be overlooked. Austin Ludwik (Gold Coast, Australia/The Southport School) and Martin Nord-Varhaug Aanestad (Varhaug, Norway/Bryne Videregaende Skule) have been a consistent defensive presence for the Golden Knights.
  • Seton Hill has a pair of players (Alex Dysen, Henrik Berg) tied for the team lead with five goals. Austin Iddon has started 16 games in net for the Griffins and has a 1.19 goals against average.
  • Gannon, which has made the PSAC Tournament three straight years, received a bye in the Quarterfinals last year. The Golden Knights dispatched of Millersville, 2-0, on November 3, 2017 to advance to the 2017 PSAC Championship game.
